IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS AND PROJECTIONS.

Ria Wilson and Valeria Medici present a series of works including painting triptychs and digital projections that muse on their personal narratives, consider themes of desire and navigate their shared religious upbringings.

Valeria Medici is a Sicilian emerging artist whose practice focuses on the externalisation of visceral experiences and sensations with emotionally charged compositions. Dreams and memories merge into fantastical and biblical representations which form and emerge through video and digital medium.

Ria Wilson is an artist born in and from Northampton. Her work explores theories of both hauntology and ontology. Through these lenses her work looks at personal narratives and memory and is always placed within a wider social context. Here she examines the tensions of family history, mental illness, class, ritual, heritage and desire and the relationships that manifests from that.
