Microscape is a series of photographs in response to a brief given during the first year of the BA Fine Art course at the University of Northampton entitled Scape. The artist intended to analyse the elements of a landscape on a microscopic level to reveal the truth of each material. By collecting elements from nature as well as materials from a landscape painter and its studio, Microscape looks into the essence of paintings and materials showing what's beyond our vision.
